Bob Hext was a special needs teacher, before leaving teaching to work full-time as a director of Crossbow Education Ltd, which he founded with his wife Anne in 1993. He has a brother with Asperger’s Syndrome and often thinks he is on the spectrum himself. His wife and eldest daughter are dyslexic. Bob and Anne developed the Eye Level Reading Ruler in 2003.
