Crossbow Education add to their visual stress support range.
Reading Rulers and A4 overlays from Crossbow Education are already helping children with Visual Stress (Irlen Syndrome) in over half the schools in the UK to access the printed page, with many children reporting “lightbulb moments” (as reported in the Autumn 2010 edition of this magazine) when [...]

AT HOME WITH A SPECIFIC LEARNING DIFFICULTY

My eldest daughter qualified as a doctor three years ago.  However her teacher would never have predicted her career success when she in the infants, still just looking at the pictures when all her peers had launched into reading books; or in the juniors, when she seemed to spend more time gazing out of the [...]

This research group, represented here by Dr Mary Fowler, specifies the use of blue and yellow tints. A wider body of research, such as that led [...]

An easy way to make life easier for 2,000,000 people

Here’s a thought. 5% of the population suffer from severe visual stress – to the extent that their reading is seriously affected. So – that would be about 2,000,000 people, excluding young children. If the government paid for all those people to have a pack of reading rulers, it would cost a mere £20,000,000.(Once they’d [...]
